An entrepreneurial self-starter and a slight workaholic, he is perfectly suited to a leadership role. In addition to founding and leading Maz, Craig is Operating Officer at Catamaran Guru.

Lead Tech

Jonathan’s marketing degree and 10+ years marine industry experience have proven to be assets to Maz Ocean. He has a passion for new marine technologies and how they can be applied to the real world making boating safer and more enjoyable. He enjoys both a challenge requiring research and a unique well-planned resolution and implementation.

Outside of working ours he enjoys snowboarding, fly fishing/fishing and a round of disc golf. He is a dog person and loves meeting new 4-legged salty friends on clients’ boats.

Alex H

Business Manager

As our Business Manager, Alex launched our  West Palm Beach marine services shop in 2020. He is a USCG Captain and ASA-certified sailing instructor with many years of professional captain, charter, instructor experience in Florida, Bahamas, and the Caribbean.

Alex moved into the marine industry after a 20-year career in the cellular industry with AT&T Wireless and other smaller networks. He has held multiple senior-level positions in Sales & Marketing, Finance, Operations, and International Business Development.

Alex is originally from Lubbock Texas and completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at Dallas and MBA at Southern Methodist University (SMU). He moved to Florida in 2011 and quickly became involved in the Palm Beach Sailing Club holding many positions on its board of directors. Alex was elected Commodore for 2023.

Account Manager

Hunter relocated from Texas to the Florida Keys in the early 2000s to explore his passion for diving and fishing then set out for greater adventures across the Atlantic and beyond. He returned in 2015 to settle in Fort Lauderdale to continue his pursuit of advancement in the marine world. With 20 years in the marine industry, having joined Maz Ocean in 2016, Hunter easily understands clients’ needs and wishes and makes them a reality.

Hunter is one of our Account Managers with varied experience and many talents within the industry. With his 200-Ton RYA Captains and 100 Ton USCG Captains licenses, he has worked on some remarkable boats. He adds a depth of knowledge to our team as well as commitment to each project working with the boat owner and technicians to accomplish the goals. His certifications include:

  • NAUI Dive Instructor.

Alex C

Account Manager

Alex grew up in Southern California as an avid spear fisherman and SCUBA diver. In college, he began working on live-aboard dive boats where he took over as captain at 21. Alex has captained 100+ foot yachts in California, Mexico, Alaska, the Caribbean, and up and down the US East Coast. He holds a USCG STCW II 500 Ton Master Oceans – Captain’s License. After his son and daughter were born, he left the sea life and leveraged his extensive knowledge of marine engineering, operations, and project management to help our clients understand their systems and plan for their cruising boat needs.

As an Account Manager, Alex educates customers about our services and tailors solutions for boat owners’ needs. Alex has recently taken up a new obsession of rock climbing at the local indoor climbing gym.

Office Assistant / HR

Kymberlie is a true 5th generation Floridian being born and raised here in Sunny South Florida and has never left. She rejoined Maz in 2021 to take on multiple roles of office assistant, HR department, and administrative assistant for the CEO and our Project Management team. She is our “Let’s Get It Done” team member. Her smile and positive attitude greets our customers. She strives daily to create a synergistic and efficient work atmosphere for our company and for those whom she represents.

Kymberlie is a happy and fun person who loves her family, animals, nature, and the ocean. She says she is the mother of the 2 best daughters in the world and the wife to the most amazing husband. She enjoys outdoor recreational activities such as kayaking, fishing, and camping; music and soaking up the sun. Kymberlie always has a large jar of peanut butter in her desk drawer for snacking.

Purchasing Manager

Growing up on the barrier island of Brigantine, NJ, Molly spent her life on the water before moving to Florida in 2014. She joined Maz Ocean in 2019 as our office administrator and quickly migrated to being our purchasing manager.

Molly is well-versed on all systems Maz Ocean installs and the components that make up the systems which ensures that all projects move along efficiently with the parts and stock items needed to complete the project. She is also the agent responsible for all your manufacturer warranty claims assisting with every step of the process.

A fun fact about Molly is that she has dyed her hair every color of the rainbow over the years!

Shop Manager

Kristen has worked in the marine industry since 2018, but has been sailing for 20+ years.

Born and raised on the West Coast, she is now enjoying the Florida weather.

Kristen joined Maz Ocean in 2022 and keeps our shop organized and ensures that all of the projects get the right parts assigned. Kristen is also a chef on charter boats in the summer.

Kelly is from Cape Town, South Africa. She and her husband moved to London in 1996 where they lived for 10 years and had 2 wonderful boys.

In 2006, they moved to Florida where Kelly was a stay-at-home mom until May 2015 when she joined Maz Ocean in accounts payable.

Tito brings 40 years’ experience and knowledge of troubleshooting complex marine electronics systems met with a higher standard of expertise.
